Weekly Post
Recently celebrating Mother’s Day, it was a time of reflection, celebration, and introspection. It was an opportunity to feel it all. We’ve made a declaration of Ms. Independent especially for those who are single moms. We’ve embraced this ideology that we must do both, fulfil both parental roles, switching between our femininity and taking on the roles of masculinity to ensure that our kids are getting all that they need at the expense of carrying burdens we don’t have to.
The most powerful thing a woman can do is be soft, move with ease and grace. We’ve been blessed with the fortitude to do it all, but we don’t have to. Take the time to reassess your role as a mom, do an inventory check and task the mask off from being super woman. Feel all those emotions and address them accordingly. Make a new declaration that allows your softness to lead. Show yourself grace and keep winning sis.
Honor yourself with fresh flowers, scheduled TLC time or a night to simply take yourself out.
