I hear something…listen…Drum rolls…being ushered in for all to see, yes, it is Fall/Autumn 2023. When I think about Fall, I want to soak in all Fall activities, fashion and colours. Date in Starbucks, layered in burnt orange turtleneck and mustard jacket, enjoying my Pumpkin Spice Latte Starbucks. Or spending time with family building a bonfire, cosied up with my bone hoodies & brown leggings. Yes, my brain thinks about colour, design and clothes.
My shopping list for Fall/Autumn includes items that are all over comfortable, easy to wear day or night & splendidly displaying items in all Autumn colours.
1. WIDE LEG DENIM

You need them NOW. There are wide-leg jeans for every shape, height and age, so don't worry! I often switch up with light-washed denim for dressing down any outfit. It is great for a lighter palette; a great option for coupling with tops in Bone, Mint & Dusty Pink. I tend to stick with simple, dainty jewellery with light washes, especially for the daytime. Embracing styles in darker washes to bring a polish to your looks this Fall; perfect nighttime duo with an oversized knit. Easy to style with a sweater & crop. Here is where my statement jewellery pieces come in; like a gold collar and strappy heels, this is a go. Please ensure, you choose a wash, you can wear year-round. Pay special attention to the length of denim; if needed, make adjustments.

This trend twins with all silhouettes for fall. Sleek enough for the office or a night out, but sporty enough for weekends spent running errands and working out. There are options to style your jacket; with its oversized, quilted or satin. Classic look: pair with a white T-shirt, slim jeans & slip-on shoes. Getting dressed for work, I wear my scarf as a tie over my shirt, even to secure with a brooch alone. Create a bold fashion statement with a silk scarf by wrapping both ends, around the bag straps.
